Eurasian Hoopoe
A conspicuous colonial bird with beautiful colours ranging from white to black, red and brown. It is also known as the bird with a crest. When they are relaxed or in flight, the crest remains flat, but if they are agitated or excited, it rises to form a fan. They have a powerful beak which they use to forage for insects under bark.
